The New Forest

We have now moved out of west Wales via a place called Llantwit Major and have ended up in the New Forest! Excellent campsite (forestry people). I think we might stay here for a day or two.

Here is where the pic was taken,

Poppit Sands, West Wales

My inlaws used to own a holiday cottage here. Pippa played here as a child. It is a lovely beach worth a look if you are in the area.

There is a significant rocky out-crop just off to the left of the beach which would provide a brilliant lead-line out to sunset. Unfortunately I can't get here for sunset!

You can find it here,

Aberystwyth

Just stopped off here for an hour or two to have a spot of lunch.

Nice beach with large grain sand (so no sensor damage). Lots of stuff on the beach leading the eye into the water. Prob not the best beach in the world but ok for a bit of photographic fun!

Dyserth falls

Mum and Dad used to take me to this waterfall when i was a kid. After 28 years I have gone back, with my little boy, on our way to snowdonia. The place has not changed a bit. I can't really get my head around the volume of water that must have fallen here over the past 28 years. I wonder how long the waterfall has been here?

A beautiful place, and a great waterfall to photograph. Ice cream is available too.

You can find it here,

Published!

Photographs that I have recently taken for Leeds City Council & Anita Morris Associates have been published in various places.

This is a great project and I am privileged to be involved.

If you live in, or are visiting the area I recommend getting down there to the Wonderwood (Holbeck) for a bite to eat and a few beers.
