The artist Antony Gormley set up 100 life sized metal men along 1km of crosby beach (near where i grew up). I have visited it a few times over the last year or so. They are due to be taken down in November and sold to a beach owner in America. They might be appearing on a beach near you soon. They give such an atmosphere. I have tried to capture the mood with tilt shift :)

I really like this! Very artistic.
I must say your pictures are really good. =]
The shop that sells ice cream etc by there, the guy is selling postcards with pictures of them on although I must say this is better than they were.
You lived in Crosby? Or near there like Seaforth or Waterloo.
I live in Seaforth myself.
My dad grew up in Crosby, my mum grew up in Seaforth. Haven't moved far, eh. :)
